Tensioned UK Made Outdoor Roof Blind
Our Cayman outdoor roof blind is able to run on roof glazing of any slope thanks to its concealed tensioning system. Tear-resistant Dyneema cables tension a hi-tensile double coiled spring, which in turn keeps the fabric taut at each position. The leadrail runs within U shaped side channels to ensure the electric blind runs perfectly square whilst also preventing any light leakage. A range of mounting brackets allow installation to every type of glazed roof, whilst height adjustable brackets allow roof vents to be overcome. When retracted away, the full cassette casing neatly encloses the fabric ensuring a low maintenance solution. Discover all the features and options below.

Full Cassette Headbox
A slim, fully enclosed cassette casing provides a neat hideaway for the blind, protecting the fabric and operating mechanism from inclement weather when closed away.
Optimum Fabric Tension
Tear resistant dyneema cables contained within the side guides, kept under tension by a double coiled spring ensures the fabric is kept taut and will withstand winds upto 24mph.
U Shaped Guides
The fabric and leadrail runs within the streamline u-shaped side guides which conceal the tensioning cables, ensuring no light leakage and guaranteeing the blind runs square.
Durable Construction
The hardware (metalwork) is constructed from corrosion-resistant, extruded aluminium for durability and longevity, finished in Pure White or Anthracite Grey as standard.

Extensive selection of exclusive fade resistant fabrics, constructed from acrylic fibres that do not stretch, warp or tear, treated with TEXgard easy clean coating.
Easy Functioning
Operation is via a built-in, powerful and reliable Somfy tubular motor with the latest bi-directional (io) technology operated from a remote control or app on your phone for ease.
Weather Sensors
Optional sun & wind sensors for automatic functioning of the blind, extending the blind when a set lux level is reached and retracting the blind during low light levels and high winds.

How much does the Cayman Blind cost.
All our external blinds are bespoke, made to measure to your exact requirements and therefore the cost varies significantly depending on the specification (size, hardware colour, operation type…) and mounting detail.
Our Cayman Blind starts at £3,495 inc vat, installation & 5 year guarantee. To obtain a budget cost for your specific requirements is really simple using our estimate form, where you simply need to upload a photo of your application and some approximate measurements and then one of our estimators will be able to provide you with an accurate cost indication.

Can the Cayman Blind be used on the top of verandas/pergolas for rain protection?
Providing our Cayman Blind is installed with a pitch of 14 degrees (or greater) as set out in European Directive EN 13561, then it can be used in rain showers. At this pitch, rainwater will run off the fabric (and not pool on the material) with the added advantage thanks to the exclusive TEXgard coating featured on our materials that it will clean surface dirt from the material ensuring it keeps a clean visual appearance.

Can you see through the fabric on the Antiguan Blind?
If you select our most popular and exclusive Twilight Pearl ‘dimout’ fabric, which is a micro-perforated fabric, during the day the view from inside to out will be maintained but onlookers cannot see in. At night, whilst the view is not reversed, if the light level is significantly greater inside than out and someone is within close proximity of the blind outside, there may be a blurred view from outside to in.
The perforations in our materials are uniformed over the surface area and do not allow water through from rain showers, due to their microscopic size.
If no view through the material is required, then opt for our blockout fabric, which is a tightly woven fabric, without perforations.
