It’s Hotting up

During the winter months, we don’t normally consider shading of any description, after all, the wet, cold grey weather doesn’t make us think of keeping cool from the sun, however, with a warming climate and Spring almost as hot as Summer, it’s not long before warm weather becomes a problem, causing our properties to overheat, making them uncomfortable to be in, particular those with heavily glazed elevations along with glass rooms & conservatories.

Too often, external shading, which is the only effective way to prevent overheating, isn’t considered until the suns intense heat has arrived, at which point with a lead in time of 4-8 weeks (dependent on product line and specification), certain rooms in the property become unusable for several months.

With 2016 the warmest year on record and 2017 set to be even warmer, the Winter months are the best time to invest in external shading, not only because we have our lowest prices of the year but also it ensures your external shading system is installed ready for when the warm weather arrives, which gets earlier every year.

Plan ahead, get your property summer ready. Talk to one of our friendly shading specialists on 0344 800 1947 or request a copy of our inspirational product catalogue by completing our quick enquiry form here.
