March is a busy month for our installation teams, with numerous products being installed following pre-season orders, so clients can enjoy their outdoor space during the warmer weather we are starting to experience and most importantly their first BBQ of the year of the Easter period, with protection from that typical shower.
With a wide selection of great jobs to choose from it proved difficult to select an installation of the month, however, one of our Directors, Bradley Dantzic, has selected the above pictured External Roller Blind installation.
Commenting on the project Bradley said ‘our stylish modern blind fused perfectly with the contemporary design of the clients building with the special offer Anthracite Grey hardware complimenting the architectural design’.
With a large surface area of glass to the South & West elevations of the first floor master bedroom, the room was prone to overheating and glare.
Our external roller blinds were selected in a low 3% micro-perforated fabric, that provides optimum protection against solar heat and light, along with providing privacy. This type of fabric is ideal if you want to reduce the room temperature but still retain diffused natural light for the room.
This particular job required our trained professionals to install a spacing profile cut angled to the inclined soffit fascia allowing the blind to sit forward of the façade by 100mm, ensuring the Velfac sliding doors could open out and slide to the sides with the blind in lowered position, giving ventilation with our blind acting as an insect screen.
Bradley summaries ‘All of our clients’ requirements are unique & different but with 30 years experience in the industry we are familiar with what you need and how we can achieve this. No door or window is too difficult to cover’.
